Manufactured Mattresses & ReSprung
Alongside mattresses made entirely from new materials, ReSprung combines brand-new comfort layers and ticking with fully refurbished and sanitised spring units, reducing material consumption.
About Rematt
Established on 1 April 2019 in Darwen, Lancashire, Rematt combines mattress manufacturing with refurbishment, commercial collections and material recovery.
We manufacture high-quality mattresses using new materials, alongside our ReSprung range, which incorporates professionally refurbished spring units.
We also provide mattress take-back, collection and recycling services for the retail and hospitality sectors, creating a complete route from production through to end-of-life management.
Our principle is simple: a mattress should never be wasted where a safe and responsible reuse or recovery route exists.
Some manufacturers require products to be destroyed rather than reused, and Rematt respects those contractual and compliance obligations. Where reuse is permitted, our aim is to keep mattresses and their materials in circulation for as long as possible, minimising landfill and environmental impact.
What we do
Alongside mattresses made entirely from new materials, ReSprung combines brand-new comfort layers and ticking with fully refurbished and sanitised spring units, reducing material consumption.
Where a mattress can be safely restored, we refurbish it to extend its useful life and prevent unnecessary destruction.
Mattresses that cannot be reused are deconstructed so steel, foam, fibre, fabric and other components can be recovered and redirected into suitable supply chains.
Retailers and hospitality providers can use our collection service for returned and end-of-use mattresses. Each item is assessed for refurbishment first, then recovery.
Tell us what you supply, replace or collect and our team will help structure the right service.
